Highway departments reported roads closed by flooding earlier in the week had re-opened Friday.
A flood warning remained in effect for Lewis County in Northeast Missouri and Pike County in West-Central Illinois.
The Mississippi River continued to drop at Hannibal after reaching 15.49 feet Wednesday. Flood stage is 16 feet.
The Mississippi also approached flood stage at Louisiana and Clarksville, but dropped before reaching it.
The river came the closest to flood stage at 25.96 feet at Winfield, where the mark is 26 feet.
The South Fabius River at Taylor dropped below flood stage after topping out at 10.44 feet earlier in the week.
At Valley City, the Illinois River was still more than seven feet above flood stage Friday.
Forecasters predict partly cloudy skies and moderate temperatures through Monday.
