Perfect weather greeted this weekend's 28th annual Clarksville Applefest.
The big parade got things underway Saturday morning. Other activities included dancers, a firemen’s challenge, quilt turning, fiddlers’ contest, a staging of original material by local authors of the Golden Hills Writers' Club, crafts and plenty of food.
Sunday's schedule features baby and apple pie contests and much more.
