A traditional Thanksgiving dinner is being offered as a gift to the Pike County, Ill., community, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at 180 S. Franklin St., Pittsfield, Ill.
While reservations are not necessary, they are especially helpful with groups of eight or more. Free dinner deliery for any homebound indiidual is available in the city of Pittsfield by calling (217) 285-4282, or (217) 285-5972.
Sponsored by the Calvary Baptist Church in Pittsfield, Pastor Bill Herald said, “This dinner is our way of saying we love you to the residents of Pike County.” Lisa Bigley serves as chairperson of the Thanksgiving event.
