Police continue search for second shoplifting suspect

   Hannibal police continued their search Friday for a second shoplifting suspect.

   Officers got a report that two teens ran from Wal-Mart with a large television and a cart of merchandise without paying at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday.

   Store personnel gave chase. The suspects dropped the merchandise in the parking lot and ran. Police worked with the store to develop the identities of the suspects.

   On Wednesday, store personnel called police and said they’d caught a shoplifter who matched the identity of a suspect from the previous day’s incident.

   The 16-year-old juvenile from Quincy, Ill., was released to the custody of the 10^th Circuit Juvenile Office. The search for the other suspect continued.
