Hannibal police officers arrested two men and two women, all of Hannibal, in the early morning hours Friday, Feb. 5, after an officer observed a traffic violation and pulled over their vehicle on Dulany Street near Broadway just before midnight Thursday night.
The police reported a search of the vehicle was conducted, and a substance believed to be cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia were located.
Raymond L. Morton, 55, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance (felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Scott D. Williams, 53, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (felony,) possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence and interfering with a police officer.
Both Morton and Williams were held on 24-hour holds and transported to the Marion County Jail.
Dianne Deere, 53, and Nancy I. Earnest, 44, were arrested for open liquor charges and released on a summons to appear in municipal court.
