On Aug. 13 the Bowling Green Police Department reported it was investigating two business burglaries that occurred overnight Aug. 12.
They were at the Bowling Green Veterinary Clinic, 1230 Business U.S. 61 South and at LaCrosse Lumber Co., 1014 W. Adams.
According to the BGPD, someone prided the rear doors open at both businesses.
An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the safe at the clinic, the police said.
At the lumber company, someone unsuccessfully attempted to break into the safe.
