The following incidents were reported Friday, June 5, by the Hannibal Police Department.
• Traffic tickets were issued on U.S. 61, Warren Barrett Drive, 30th Street, South Main Street and on Broadway.
• Police investigated reports of suspicious vehicles at two locations, disturbances, trespassing, an assault and a traffic complaint.
• A drive-off without paying was reported at 1910 Market.
• Property damage was reported on Columbus.
• A man was arrested on drug and weapon charges in the 300 block of Center Street.
• Animals at large were reported and investigated. Two dogs were taken to the animal shelter.
• Both injury and non-injury accidents were reported.
• A female juvenile was reported missing and was located safely.
• Two reports of possible animal neglect were found to be untrue.
• A vehicle was photographed running a stop light on U.S. 61.
• A woman reported her WIC vouchers had been lost or stolen.
• Possible animal neglect was reported and investigated.
• Police were told an animal was left inside a vehicle at Wal-Mart parking lot, but it was not located by the police.
• An abandoned vehicle was reported and the owner moved it after being contacted by the police.
• Another abandoned vehicle report was determined to be unfounded.
• Police were told a vehicle was damaged in a parking lot on 29th Street.
• Several motorists were stopped for unnecessary noise and one was ticketed, while others were issued warnings.
• Police were told someone was shooting fireworks between Holy Family Church and the school.
• A man and a female juvenile were issued warnings after they were contacted in Kiwanis Park at 10:19 p.m., after park hours.
