Simpson sentenced in Hannibal robbery case

Omar J. Simpson has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for robbery.
Simpson admitted to stealing a car from a man who was delivering meals to seniors and then robbing the United Community Credit Union at gunpoint.
The incidents happened on Oct. 29, 2008.
Police caught the suspect at a home on Wildwood following a short car and foot chase. No serious injuries were reported.
