The following Circuit Court cases were reported by Marion County Prosecuting Attorney Tom Redington:
• Sean Ivey was on probation. A motion to revoke probation had been filed. Probation was revoked on Sept. 19, and he was sentenced to 30 days in Marion County Jail.
• James M. Elzea, charged with assault of a law officer, third degree. On Sept. 19 he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 days in Marion County ail.
• Ronald L. Caldwell Jr., charged with felony non-support. On Sept. 15 he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years with the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was granted a suspended execution of sentence and placed on five years supervised probation. He was ordered to pay his child support obligation plus $300 to the Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and court costs.
• David W. Thomas, charged with endangering the welfare of a child. On Sept. 19 he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nine months in Marion County Jail. He was granted a suspended execution of sentence pending successful completion of supervised probation for two years. He was ordered to pay $100 to the Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and court costs.
• Nicole B. Horstmeyer, charged with possession of paraphernalia. She pleaded guilty on Sept. 19. She was sentenced to 90 days in Marion County Jail. She was granted a suspended execution of sentence pending successful completion of supervised probation for two years. She was ordered to pay $100 to the Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and court costs. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and pay a $500 fine.
• Crystal F. Wood, charged with possession of marijuana. On Sept. 19 she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 90 days in Marion County Jail. She was granted a suspended execution of sentence pending successful completion of supervised probation for two years. She was ordered to pay $100 to the Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and court costs. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and pay a $500 fine.
• Nathan D. Brown, charged with possession of marijuana. On Sept. 19 he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 90 days in Marion County Jail. He was granted a suspended execution of sentence pending successful completion of supervised probation for two years. He was ordered to pay $100 to the Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and court costs. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and pay a $500 fine.
• Steven E. Gates, charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense. On Sept. 19 he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 90 days in Marion County Jail. He was granted a suspended execution of sentence pending successful completion of supervised probation for two years. He was ordered to pay $100 to the Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund, recoupment of funds and court costs. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and the SATOP program, and pay a $250 fine.
• Roy W. Couch, charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense. On Sept. 19 he pleaded guilty and was granted a suspended imposition of sentence pending successful completion of supervised probation for two years. He was ordered to pay $100 to the Marion County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund, court costs and the recoupment of funds. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and any counseling/treatment his probation officer requires.
