Nobody was suggesting Friday that Don Willis and Robert Stevenson will be inseparable during the month of December, but more often than not the two will be together as Willis, the outgoing general manager of the Hannibal Board of Public Works, brings Stevenson, named Friday Willis’ successor at that position, up to speed.
Robert Stevenson is a newcomer to Hannibal. However, the Board of Public Works’ new general manager has a strong sense of the organization’s history.
On the surface, it doesn’t appear that much progress is being made on the Hannibal Regional Airport’s new terminal project. But beneath the surface, preparations are being made so that when the state completes a review of documents the city will be ready to take the next step.
