A special fund-raising dessert cruise will be held on the Mark Twain Riverboat at Hannibal at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12.
Proceeds will benefit Shannon Dunn, a Hannibal High School junior who was chosen by the Universal Cheerleading Association to participate in the New Year’s Day parade in London, England.
Three other cheerleaders from Hannibal also were chosen, but elected not to make the trip.
The dessert cruise will include coffee and tea. Cost is $10 and may be paid at the time of boarding.
