Swon family has reunion

A Swon family reunion was held the last weekend in August at the home of Ken and Sandy Swon of Perry.
This was the first family reunion in 20 or more years. A total of 87 people attended, with the farthest anyone traveled being from Pennsylvania.
The family came from the Kansas City and Chicago areas, as well as all points in between. Family and friends spent the day telling tales of days past and catching up on the happenings of today. Some threw horseshoes and played baseball.
The family hopes to get everyone together again in five years or so.
