B&B Theatres announces groundbreaking

B&B Theatres announced Wednesday that the groundbreaking for its new Main Street Cinema 8 in Hannibal will take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 8.
The ceremony will take place at the corner of Main Street and Broadway, where the new cinema will be located.
The new eight-screen downtown theater will feature stadium seating, digital sound and wall-to-wall screens.
In April, company officials said they hoped the facility would be open before the end of the year.
