WQEC/PBS Quincy presents its fourth annual Fun Time Station Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Oakley Lindsay Center, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event provides hands-on activities for children and their families, and is based on PBS’ children’s educational programming such as Arthur, Word World, Super Why, Clifford the Big Red Dog and Bob the Builder.
The theme of the event “A Rainbow of Fun,” features a variety of interesting activities, all designed to incorporate the theme along with various learning and skills related to children’s educational programming.
In addition to the booths and activities, there will be entertainment throughout the day and visits by PBS characters Super Why and Clifford the Big Red Dog. A concession stand will be available along with the WQEC store for purchasing PBS program items.
Advance tickets are $3 for Club Kids members, $4 for non-members, and are available at County Market Stores, the Civic Center Office or by calling 800-232-3605. Tickets purchased at the door are $5. Ages 2 and under are free. Proceeds benefit children’s educational programming for WQEC/PBS Quincy channel 27.
