Fairly delightful
Can you smell the corn dogs, cotton candy and lemon shakeups?
The 35th annual Lewis County Fair continues through Monday at Lewistown.
You’ve already missed motorcycles and the demolition derby, but the tractor pull is Saturday night. There’ll also be a cowboy mounted shoot-out, antique tractor pull and other activities on Sunday.
Redneck woman
The 50th annual Lincoln County Fair isn’t until July 13 to 17, but you won’t want to miss two pre-fair events.
The queen contest is 7 p.m. Saturday at Bonfils Auditorium. The parade is at 6 p.m. Sunday along Main Street to City Park.
If you can’t make the tractor pull, demolition derby, greased pig contest or dozens of other activities, make sure to keep July 17 open for a performance by country superstar Gretchen Wilson.

Princess calling
The Raintree Arts Council hosts Missoula Childrens' Theater production of “The Princess and the Pea.”

Pig out
The 42 annual Pig Days continues Saturday in Pittsfield.
Things getting going around the prettiest courthouse in the area with the farmers’ market at 7 a.m.
The kiddie tractor pull is at 9:15, with a hay scramble at 10 and the pigskin toss at 10:30. There’ll also be rides, crafts, entertainment and some of the best food you’ll ever feast upon. Things don’t wrap up until 9 p.m., so grab the family and go.
