Tosha M. Reed, 25, of Springfield, Mo., was flown to the University Hospital in Columbia after suffering serious injuries when her car hit a deer in rural Ralls County at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

Tosha M. Reed, 25, of Springfield, Mo., was flown to the University Hospital in Columbia after suffering serious injuries when her car hit a deer in rural Ralls County at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Reed was driving a 2003 Hyundai Elantra north on Route H one mile north of Salt River and six miles north of Center.

Officers said after her car hit a deer, it went off the east side of the road, overturned and hit a utility pole. Reed was wearing a seat belt.

The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Ralls County Sheriff's Department and Ambulance and the Center Fire Department.
