Weather permitting, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews will conduct the following work on U.S. Route 36 in Shelby County. Please see the dates and locations below.

U.S. Route 36 eastbound — Monday, Nov. 5 through Friday, Nov. 9 and Tuesday, Nov. 13 through Friday, Nov. 16, the driving lane will be closed at various locations from Shelby County Road 486 to Monroe County Road 381 for concrete work. The lane was closed at 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 and will reopen at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9. It will then close again at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 and reopen 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16. There will be a 12-ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed.

Motorists are urged to use caution if traveling through this area. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
