Registration is open for leisure, intermediate and competitive pickleball leagues beginning Nov. 12 in the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.

Games will be played Monday evenings through Dec. 10 and on Dec. 11, a Tuesday. A competitive tournament will be held on Monday. Dec. 17.

There are 32 spots available and registration ends Nov. 5 or until the spots are filled. Registration is available at the Hannibal Parks & Recreation office at City Hall, 320 Broadway.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net.
