Hannibal High School's volleyball team clinched its fifth consecutive undefeated season in the NCMC on Saturday when it defeated the Lady Owls in Marshall.

Hannibal High School's volleyball team clinched its fifth consecutive undefeated season in the NCMC on Saturday when it defeated the Lady Owls in Marshall.

The Lady Pirates prevailed in two sets by scores of 25-18 and 25-11.

Statistical standouts in the match for Hannibal were: Kyler Rademan, three aces, three kills,10 set assists and two digs; Kaylee Falconer, 10 set assists and six digs; Haley Ballinger, 10 digs; Abby Baumann, four kills and four digs; Claire Thomas, nine kills and one dig; Peyton Utterback, four kills; Emma Deien, two kills and two digs; and Maddie Jane, three kills and five digs.  

Hannibal, 21-9-1, was scheduled to face Wentzville Liberty on Monday at the Timberland district.

The Hannibal JV, 13-11-4, ended its season with a 25-12, 25-9 victory.

Serving was a key in the match for the Lady Pirates who totaled 15 aces.

Leading the junior varsity to victory were: Kendel Locke, four kills, six set assists and five digs; Bella Falconer, five kills and five set assists; Baylee Zeiger, seven digs; and Katie Greening, six aces.

Hannibal's freshman/sophomore team, 5-10, ended its season with a loss. After losing the first game 25-13 HHS won the second game 25-21. Marshall prevailed in the third game 15-13, overcoming a 7-2 deficit.

Christine St Juliana led Hannibal with four digs and four aces. Gabbie LaMothe had three kills.
