The Hannibal Free Clinic is hosting Boo-Q and Music at the American Legion Hall, 3819 Route MM.

The fund-raiser is being held in lieu of the RibFest that was scheduled at the Mark Twain Cave but was canceled due to rain from Hurricane Gordon.

Boo-Q and Music will be Oct. 26. The meal will be served 5-8 p.m. or until the food runs out and the music by T-Zers Too will be performed from 7-10 p.m.

T-Zers Too is a rock and oldies band from the Hannibal/Quincy area, band members include Larry Vaughn, Harry Wagy, Steve Bradshaw, Tom Lister and Jerry Kaszynski. The band had planned to play at the RibFest and donated their services due to the cancellation. The American Legion also donated the use of its facility for the Boo-Q event.

The menu is pulled pork, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, desserts, tea and lemonade. Carryouts are available.

Hannibal Free Clinic is a non-profit, volunteer-based clinic that provides basic medical care for uninsured adults ages of 18 and 64. All care is provided by volunteer and donated doctors, nurses and other providers, and all support staff are volunteers. Since opening in 2007, the Hannibal Free Clinic has provided care to more than 2,000 individuals during 13,000 visits. The Hannibal Free Clinic also has a medication assistance program that has helped secure over $13 million in donated medications from pharmaceutical companies.

Hannibal Free Clinic is located at 160 Progress Road.

Services are available only by appointment for eligible patients. They include:

• Basic healthcare services

• Assistance with medications

• Support for accessing other healthcare services

• Basic dental services
