Cornet Chop Suey keep things lively for an audience of more than 150 people during the band’s annual performance on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Apple Shed in Clarksville. The popular professional group is based in St. Louis and plays all over the world. Tunes during the two-hour set included “Honeysuckle Rose,” “Dark Eyes,” “St. Louis Blues,” “Louisiana Fairy Tale,” “Johnny B. Goode” and “What a Wonderful World.” The event was sponsored by the Raintree Arts Council, which provides programs in Pike and Lincoln counties through funding from the Missouri Arts Council and other resources.
