The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department’s Storybook Trail started Monday, Sept. 10, in Central Park.

Anyone walking along the trail through Monday, Sept. 24 can pause and read the pages of “How Do Dinosaurs Stay Friends?” by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague.

The signs were donated by Park Place Sign Systems of Hannibal and the books were donated by Scholastic.

Storybook Trail is a free, family-oriented activity that the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department sponsors biannually. Parents as Teachers will have a Discovery Time for all preschool children at the Storybook Trail 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14.
