Kent Dixon talks with his 101-year-old grandmother, Vera Dixon, during the New Hartford Baptist Church 150th anniversary celebration Sunday, Sept. 9. More than 85 people packed the Pike County church to hear about the congregation’s ministry and its history. Special music was provided by the Matt Carroll Family and the Ambassadors of Grace. The service was led by current pastor the Rev. Paul Lewis, who is recovering from kidney surgery. Recollections from past ministers were provided by the Rev. Bob Hoehn and the Rev. Ray Long. Messages from the Rev. Mike Bronson and the Rev. Nathan Aubuchon also were read.
