Marion Wilson, 65, was driving a Ford SUV when, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a vehicle driven by Mary Schueler, 53, of O'Fallon, Mo., rear-ended Wilson's vehicle.

A Hannibal woman is recovering from moderate injuries after her vehicle overturned multiple times on U.S. 61.

The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, on U.S. 61 three miles southeast of Palmyra.

Marion Wilson, 65, was driving a Ford SUV when, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a vehicle driven by Mary Schueler, 53, of O'Fallon, Mo., rear-ended Wilson's vehicle. The impact cause Wilson's vehicle to go off the right side of the road. She then overcorrected. The vehicle overturned multiple times.

The crash report indicates Wilson was not wearing a seat belt. She was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

Schueler suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Palmyra Fire Department, Marion County Sheriff's Department, and Marion County Ambulance.
