The Hannibal Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify the individual(s) involved in an animal abuse/cruelty case.

The Hannibal Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify the individual(s) involved in an animal abuse/cruelty case.

The police were called to the 2900 block of Market Street in reference to a cat shot with an arrow and suffering numerous other visible wounds.

On Friday, July 6, the cat was being treated by a local veterinarian, and its prognosis was not available. The HPD reported the City of Hannibal takes cases such as these very seriously.
