Five children ages 3 to 8 years old were crowned Hannibal royalty for 2018 during the Little Mr. and Miss Hannibal pageant on June 30, and others won talent contests.

The contest was at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center, a new location from recent years, when it had been at Hannibal Middle School. This new location proved advantageous, because the large gymnasium at the Recreation Center allowed both this and the baby contest to take place simultaneously, cutting the time in half.

In the boys' contest, Parker Neff was crowned Mr. Hannibal. Weston Willard was runner-up in this contest, for boys ages 5 and 6.

In the ages 3 and 4 boys' contest, Benton Nichelson was crowned Little Mr. Hannibal. Adyn Nelson was runner-up.

In the girls' contests, Kamille Kerley was crowned Little Tot in the ages 3 and 4 division. Rowan Miller was runner-up.

Charli Lain was crowned Hannibal Pee Wee in the ages 5 and 6 division. Elaina Griffith was runner-up.

Amelia Saxbury is the 2018 Hannibal Little Miss. This contest was for girls 7 and 8 years old. Allysa Brentlinger was runner-up.

Winners of the talent show were all girls.

Rowan Miller won the ages 3 and 4 division; Sarah Thomure, ages 5 and 6; and Alyjiana Williams, ages 7 and 8.

Barbara Stewart, who coordinates this contest each year, announced the next Hannibal contest will be the Miss Hannibal pageant on Sept. 8.
