The man accused taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Hannibal area church will have to wait until July 10 for a pretrial hearing.

Attorneys in the case against Donald R. White, of Hannibal, have been granted another continuance following a March 19 arraignment. White is charged with two counts of federal wire fraud following a lengthy investigation.

White is accused of taking more than $300,000 from Antioch Baptist Church, in Ralls County, over the course of many years while he served as the church treasurer. White had little oversight in his position, court documents say.

As a part of an alleged scheme to steal from the church, White wrote checks from the F & M Bank checking account of the church to himself. White was the signatory on the account.

Prosecutors allege on at least two instances, White had a check wired to him from F & M Bank's financial computer server near Des Moines, Iowa, to a Walmart store in Missouri's eastern district.

Attorneys have been granted three continuances so far in the case.
