A Lincoln County man is now back in that county after Northeast Missouri officers served warrants for his arrest in rural Monroe County.

A Lincoln County man is now back in that county after Northeast Missouri officers served warrants for his arrest in rural Monroe County.

In the early morning hours of June 20, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office assisted the U.S. Marshals, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office in serving two arrest warrants on an individual residing in rural Monroe County.

As a result, 44-year-old David L. Daniels, Jr., of Troy, Mo., was arrested on Monroe County Road 460 outside of Stoutsville, Mo., on two Lincoln County warrants. Daniels has been charged with second-degree burglars, stealing, and five counts of failure to register as a sex offender. All are Class D felonies.

Bond on the warrants are $25,000 cash only each.

Daniels was transported back to Lincoln County.
