Three area teen-agers were injured in a one-car crash at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, June 2, in Monroe County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Madison S. Hadley, 16, of Monroe City, was driving a 2017 Kia Forte on Monroe County Road 595 six miles south of Monroe City. Officers said it went off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

Hadley and Jarrad W. Verdier, 17, of Palmyra, suffered moderate injuries. Alivia D. Graddy, 18, of Vandalia, had minor injuries. Hadley and Graddy were wearing seat belts, and Verdier was not.

All three went by Monroe City ambulances to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
