The Hannibal High School choir department recently competed at the MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Festival.

Six soloists received a Gold Rating — the highest possible. They include Nathan Lewton, Isabella Conley, Levi Blaine, Della Rodenbaugh, Travon Stevenson, and Delaney Cooke. Michaela Johnston earned a Silver Rating on her solo.

Four ensembles received a “1” rating at district contest and competed in the state level festival as well. Earning Gold Ratings at state were a double quartet that included Lillie Ford, Evie Rodenbaugh, Katie McCollum, Ellie Locke, Mason Ward, Austin Brown, Nathan Lewton, and Travon Stevenson. A girls’ sextet also earned a Gold Rating. The members are Della Rodenbaugh, Evie Rodenbaugh, Miya See, Isabella Conley, Liz Stilley, and Katie McCollum.

Two ensembles received Silver Ratings. The first is a men’s sextet with Isaac Reinwald, Jace Tischer, Keaton Bartz, Nathan Lewton, Micah Blaine, and Travon Stevenson. The other group receiving Silver was a double quartet with Emily Sullivan, Michaela Johnston, Liz Stilley, Paige Bautch, Keaton Bartz, Tyler Stevenson, Cedric Singleton and Trenton Roland.
