Those wishing to learn how they can leave a lasting gift to Marion County are invited to a special event at the Philadelphia Community Center, hosted by the Marion County Endowment Fund board.

Those wishing to learn how they can leave a lasting gift to Marion County are invited to a special event at the Philadelphia Community Center, hosted by the Marion County Endowment Fund board.

The event will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, with the community center and the endowment board providing a free breakfast to those attending.

During the event, those attending will learn about the Marion County Endowment Fund and how to make a gift towards the endowment which will be used to improve the quality of life in Marion County.

They will also learn how the fund can grow with their contributions and what those funds have been used for the in past and what local causes their contributions could be used for in the future.

Gifts to the Marion County Endowment Fund are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
