A Nebraska man suffered moderate injuries Thursday night in a one-vehicle mishap in Marion County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 7:08 p.m. on eastbound U.S. 36, two miles west of Hannibal.

A 2006 International tractor-trailer was being driven east by 55-year-old Richard A. Fuerhoff of Plainview, Neb., when it traveled off the left side of the road. The vehicle came to rest on its side, blocking both lanes of eastbound U.S. 36.

Fuerhoff, who was wearing a safety device, was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
