Sherre Mobley, MEC, LPR, RPT, a licensed professional counselor at Mark Twain Behavioral Health, and an outpatient clinician in the Hannibal office, recently obtained certification geared toward helping children between the ages of two and seven.

Sherre Mobley, MEC, LPR, RPT, a licensed professional counselor at Mark Twain Behavioral Health, and an outpatient clinician in the Hannibal office, recently obtained certification geared toward helping children between the ages of two and seven.

Mobley obtained her certification as a Registered Play Therapist, which is a mental health professional who has obtained additional specific play therapy education, training and supervised experience and is credentialed by the Association for Play Therapy.

Mobley also holds certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based treatment for children ages two to seven with emotional and behavioral disorders that places emphasis on the parent-child relationship and changing patterns of interaction.

Mobley is a member of the American Counseling Association, The Association for Play Therapy and PCIT International.
