United Way of the Mark Twain Area Executive Director Frank Di Tillo invites Cassidy Winters, left, a senior at Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU), to talk about her project with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and Samantha Pikaard, right, a sophomore at HLGU, who has tasked herself to shadow the United Way for a few days. The young ladies were a pleasant break from the normal United Way ‘Talk Back,’ Di Tillo said. He teased Harold Smith telling him, “that it may be dark, wet and dreary outside but I had brought him a couple spots of sunshine for the studio.” Winters talked enthusiastically about her work with CASA and social media projects they had underway, and she stressed the need for CASA volunteers. Pikaard was able to support the work ongoing at this time for the United Way campaign. The young ladies did a good job of representing themselves, the agencies with whom they had been working and HLGU.
