Children ages 5 to 12 will have a jolly time creating holiday gifts at the Hannibal Arts Council’s annual Holly Jolly Holiday Workshop scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2.

Children ages 5 to 12 will have a jolly time creating holiday gifts at the Hannibal Arts Council’s annual Holly Jolly Holiday Workshop scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2.

Two sessions will be offered to accommodate busy schedules and an increased number of participants. Participants may choose to attend either a two-hour workshop beginning at 10 a.m. or beginning at 1 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St.

Projects to be created include Tea Light Snowman, Paper Snowflake, Special Star Wire Ornament, 3D Card Station, Sparkle Ball Ornament, Snowy Night Window, Fluffy the Snowman Sculpture and Reindeer Chow Snack Station.

The cost for the program is $10 per child and $5 for each additional child per family. Scholarships are available upon request. Holly Jolly programs typically sell out, so register soon. To register, contact the Hannibal Arts Council at 573-221-6545 or reservations@hannibalarts.com .

The Holly Jolly Holiday Workshop is the perfect opportunity for parents and/or grandparents and children to work together to create projects while also discovering the art of giving. The workshops are sponsored by the George H. Riedel Private Foundation and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
