A Paris man sustained moderate injuries Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision in Monroe County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the mishap happened at 2:55 p.m. Nov. 1 on MO 15 at County Road 405.

A 2000 GMC Sierra, operated by 67-year-old Glenn E. Vaughn of Paris, was backing across the roadway when it was struck by a 2016 Freightliner driven by Roger D. Lehenbauer of Paris.

Vaughn, who was not wearing a safety device, was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
