Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney Talley Kendrick announced that Donald Blankenship, of Madison, was sentenced to ten years in the Missouri Department of Corrections pursuant to Section 559.115.

Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney Talley Kendrick announced that Donald Blankenship, of Madison, was sentenced to ten years in the Missouri Department of Corrections pursuant to Section 559.115. 

He appeared before Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd on Oct. 5, for sentencing following a guilty plea in August.  

Blankenship was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance on March 13 after a search warrant was served by Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  He had been in the continuous custody of the Monroe County Sheriff since that time.  There was no plea agreement in this case.
