The Dug-Out Steakhouse was packed this week as Jackpot hopeful winners gathered at 6 P.M. for the weekly drawing. Monroe City R-1 Foundation President, Gary Yager took extra pains to churn the tickets, slowly draw the weekly ticket purchased by Randy Parn and announce that Parn’s ticket number 33 was the 7 of Spades.

The elusive Ace of Diamonds is still resting comfortably in the locked case.

Perhaps next week’s ticket will be the Ace of Diamonds Jackpot winner and receive a percentage of the $3,941 Jackpot. If the Jackpot winner is present for the drawing they will receive 75 percent of the Jackpot. If the Jackpot winner is not present that winner will receive 60% of the Jackpot.

The formula is simple. You purchase a ticket at all local banks; JC Auto Parts, at home athletic events, or from Foundation members listed below. On the back of the ticket you write your name, phone number, and choose a lucky number from the updated weekly list.

Every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. one ticket will be drawn. If the number happens to be the same as the envelope concealing the Ace of Diamonds, you are the Jackpot Winner. If your ticket number is not the Jackpot winner you will still receive $100 as a weekly winner.
