No one was injured when a boat struck a submerged stump in Mark Twain Lake on Thursday, Aug. 3.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2000 Bayliner piloted by Kenneth Litchfield, 61, of Nauvoo, Ill., was traveling on Lick Creek Arm of Mark Twain Lake when the incident occurred.

According to MSHP, the boat was totaled. Blackjack Marina removed the boat.
