Three exhibits will be featured in the Hannibal Arts Council (HAC) galleries from Friday, Aug. 11 through Saturday, Sept. 9. The exhibits are Creative Expressions, Best of Missouri Hands Featured Artist, Project Street Art and The Photography Channel: Architecture.

An Opening Reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S Main St. The reception is being hosted by the Friday Writers Group, with featured beverages from Golden Eagle Distributing. The exhibits are being sponsored by International Eyecare Center and the Missouri Arts Council.

For the Creative Expressions exhibit, the HAC Gallery Committee has invited Hannibal painter and sculptor Barry Messer and Hallsville painter Richard Dutton. For the Best of Missouri Hands Featured Artist exhibit, Allison Norfleet-Bruenger will display her one-of-a-kind jewelry. Bringing graffiti and street art into the gallery are artists from Project Street Art. For The Photography Channel, photographers were invited to submit photos that reflect the theme Architecture. Submitted photos highlight buildings, architectural details and anything related to structures. These photos will be displayed on a 3D television in the HAC gallery.

HAC gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. The HAC gallery is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.
