Hannibal Free Public Library announces the conclusion of another “successful” summer reading program for all ages. The Finale for children and teens was held on Wednesday, July 26.

Ice cream was scooped, faces were painted, and everyone had lots of fun, reports library personnel.

The last day for children and teens to report hours was Wednesday.  Prizes may be claimed through Saturday, July 29.

Ye Olde Tyme Game Night, the Adult Finale, will be held on Monday, July 31, from 4 to 8 p.m.  A cake walk and other old-fashioned games are planned.  Refreshments will be served.  The Finale is also the Library’s public farewell to Claire Ehrlich, the Assistant Director since February 2011, who leaves to take a position in Illinois.  The public is invited to this free event.
