Marion County law enforcement arrested three men and issued summons to a fourth after allegedly finding several drug items during a traffic stop early Saturday morning.

Marion County law enforcement arrested three men and issued summons to a fourth after allegedly finding several drug items during a traffic stop early Saturday morning.

None of the suspects are local.

Three men, Pedro D. Parra-Jurado, 17, Daniel A. Reyes-Bustamante, 22, and Alberto Zuniga, 20, were charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony.

All three are being held in the Marion County Jail on $25,000 cash-only bonds.

A fourth man, Walter J. Castillo-Sagastgume, 22, was issued a summons for marijuana possession under 35 grams.

A fifth person in the vehicle, a female, was not charged.

The arrests stem from a traffic stop around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8 near Shinn Lane in Marion County.

A Marion County Deputy pulled the vehicle over for exceeding the speed limit.

The deputy said he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle when he engaged the driver.

According to a probable cause statement, several baggies containing cocaine were seized from the people and from within duffel bags in the vehicle.

A loaded gun was also taken.
