Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney Talley Kendrick announces the following individuals were sent to the Department of Corrections during the month of June:

1. David Elzea was sentenced to eighteen (18) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections pursuant to Section 559.115, RSMo, for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Felon), Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the First Degree. This case was investigated by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

2. Casey Jolly was sentenced to five (5) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Burglary. He served one (1) year in the Department of Corrections in the Long Term Drug Treatment Program before being released onto probation. He failed to abide by the terms and conditions of his probation and was sent to the Department of Corrections pursuant to Section 559.036, RSMo. His case was originally investigated by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

3. James Kelly was sentenced to four (4) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Felony Resisting Arrest. This case was investigated by the Monroe City Police Department.

4. Dakota Bailey had been placed on probation for Aggravated Stalking. He failed to abide by the terms and conditions of his probation and was sentenced to four (4) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections pursuant to Section 559.115, RSMo. This case was investigated by the Monroe City Police Department.
