Randy L. Crabill, 55, of Philadelphia, Mo., was flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., after suffering moderate injuries in a collision at 3:05 p.m. Monday, July 3, in rural Marion County, Mo.

Randy L. Crabill, 55, of Philadelphia, Mo., was flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., after suffering moderate injuries in a collision at 3:05 p.m. Monday, July 3, in rural Marion County, Mo.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the collision was on Marion County Road 110 east of Route D five miles north of Philadelphia.

Officers reported an eastbound 1998 Freightliner tractor driven by Kevin L. Bock, 41, of Palmyra, Mo., and a westbound 2003 Ford F250 truck driven by Crabill collided head-on, after the vision of both drivers was obstructed due to a dust trail. Crabill was not using a safety device. Bock was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department, Marion County ambulance and Philadelphia Fire Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
