Mike Bramblett, Hannibal Crane Service Manager, works with Hannibal Parks & Recreation personnel to raise a 14-foot by 25-foot American flag near the flood wall Friday, June 30. He said Hannibal Crane Service always set up a large American flag on U.S. 61, and he thought the Hannibal riverfront would be a great place to unfurl the flag. He said new management members encouraged the idea. “We're all patriotic, so I like to do something for the community,” Bramblett said. He said the flag will fly over the riverfront through Wednesday, July 5.
