The northeast Missouri C.H.A.R.T. Partnership is hosting a Legislative Roundtable on June 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fiddlestiks Restaurant in Hannibal.

The northeast Missouri C.H.A.R.T. Partnership is hosting a Legislative Roundtable on June 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fiddlestiks Restaurant in Hannibal. Tom Dugger, Chair of CHART Partnership and Executive Director for Families and Communities Together (F.A.C.T.), a C.H.A.R.T. Partner organizations, will serve as coordinator and host for the day. C.H.A.R.T. is providing an opportunity to discuss issues related to health and quality of life in northeast Missouri. A buffet lunch will be provided for C.H.A.R.T. Partnership members. The cost for non-members will be $12.00. Our invited legislative guests for this event include:

• Senator Brian Munzlinger is a Republican and a member of the Missouri Senate serving the 18th District. Munzlinger was born in Quincy, Illinois but raised in rural Lewis County, Missouri. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in general agriculture. Munzlinger, a third-generation Missouri farmer, resides on his farm near Williamstown, Missouri. He attends Williamstown Christian Church and is a member of the Missouri Farm Bureau, the Missouri Corn Growers Association, the Missouri Soybean Association, the Missouri Cattleman's Association, the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, NFIB, and the University of Missouri Alumni Association.

• Representative Jim Hansen is a Republican and member of the State House (MO) – District 40. Born in Hannibal, Rep. Hansen resides in Frankford. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1969 from University of Arizona and a Masters in Secondary Education. Rep. Hansen retired in 2002 as Vice-President of the State Farm Insurance office in Columbia, Missouri. Rep. Hansen served in the U.S. Army. He was elected to serve on the Hannibal School Board in 1980. He is a member of the Adiel Baptist Church.

• Representative Craig Redmon is a Republican and member of the Missouri House of Representatives. Redmon represents the 4th District. Redmon was born in Kirksville, Missouri and is a 1977 graduate of Highland High School in Lewis County. Following graduation he attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, receiving a degree in business administration and economics in 1982. When not involved with his legislative duties, Redmon is owner/operator of a business in Monticello, Missouri. He is also involved in local youth athletics and officiates at basketball games.

The Northeast Missouri C.H.A.R.T. Partnership meets each month to encourage and support initiatives which enhance the health and vitality of residents of Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls and Shelby counties.
