Two people from Northeast Missouri were charged with possession of controlled substance after officers allegedly found multiple controlled substances during a check for well-being.

Officers were dispatched on May 6 to the 3100 block of St. Charles in reference to an incoherent man possibly under the influence of drugs. The man was taken to the hospital, but officers questioned Jeremy McTheeney, 30, of Hunnewell, and Jamie Harris, 23, of Center. After questioning, both provided Hannibal Police Department officers with bags of controlled substance held on their person.

McTheeney allegedly produced bags that field tested positive for marijuana, methamphetamine and prescription drugs. Harris produced prescription drugs, marijuana, and a pipe that allegedly contained methamphetamine.

McTheeney also had active warrants.

Both were charged earlier this month with possession.

Warrants have been issued for both.

As of May 19, neither was listed as an inmate in the Marion County Jail.
