Three second-year Webelos Scouts from Pack 101 earned the highest award in Cub Scouts — The Arrow of Light Award — during the Blue and Gold Award Ceremony on Saturday, May 13, at Arch United Methodist Church.

The Arrow of Light Award is the only achievement award that can be carried over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts, along with the patch and pin on the Boy Scout shirt that carry through to becoming an Eagle Scout.

The three Cub Scouts who earned the Arrow of Light Award are now Boy Scouts: Nicholas Lawson, Louis Perfetto and Noah Heimer. Perfetto will be moving on to Troop 161 in Palmyra, with Troop Leader Bob Stout. Lawson and Heimer will Hannibal's Troop 106, with Troop Leader Chuck Clifton.

Parents and leaders wished to congratulate all of the Scouts who attended the ceremony, and to extend a special thank you Pack 101 Cubmaster Matt Lawson for his dedication.
