The Northeast Missouri C.H.A.R.T. Partnership meeting on Wednesday, May 17, will feature guest speaker Todd Ahrens. His presentation will provide an overview of rural and national healthcare.

The Northeast Missouri C.H.A.R.T. Partnership meeting on Wednesday, May 17, will feature guest speaker Todd Ahrens. His presentation will provide an overview of rural and national healthcare.

Ahrens is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hannibal Regional Healthcare System, Inc., which includes Hannibal Regional Hospital, Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation, and the Hannibal Regional Medical Group.

Ahrens received his Bachelor of Sciences and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He then returned to his hometown of Hannibal where he practiced law, eventually becoming a partner at Ahrens, Hale & Lemon, LLC. In 2007, AhreAhrens joined Hannibal Regional Hospital and served as Vice President – General Counsel until he was named President and CEO of the System in 2012.

Ahrens serves on numerous boards in the community as well as the Missouri Hospital Association Board of Directors and the Us TOO International Prostate Cancer Education and Support Network Board of Directors. He resides in Hannibal with his wife, Lydia and three children.

The C.H.A.R.T. Partnership meets the third Wednesday of each month at Fiddlestiks in Hannibal with lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by a program and the meeting at Noon. Healthcare and social service organizations and leaders throughout Northeast Missouri are encouraged to participate. The Partnership encourages and supports initiatives which enhance the health and vitality of residents of Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls and Shelby counties. The C.H.A.R.T. Partnership serves as a vehicle for regular dialogue among regional health leaders, encouraging a shared understanding of regional health challenges and the emergence of activity designed to enhance the health and wellbeing of residents of the region.
