Survival Flight was moving the trailer it uses as its base and living quarters from Hannibal Regional Airport to Hannibal Regional Hospital on Wednesday.

While remaining in Hannibal, Survival Flight is moving the trailer which serves as its office and living quarters from Hannibal Regional Airport to nearby Hannibal Regional Hospital. The relocation was taking place on Wednesday.

It was announced at Wednesday’s meeting of the Northeast Missouri Economic Development Council that the trailer will be placed on property located on the northwest corner of the medical campus, near the hospital’s helicopter pad.

While no lonnger based at the airport, George Walley of the city’s Airport Advisory Board said the emergency medical helicopter will still buy fuel there and use hangar space in severe weather.
